Recently my husband and I stayed stayed at this hotel for a weekend. Have only got good things to say about this hotel. The hotel interior is lovely, very modern and spacious. The room is very modern and quite a good size, bathroom beautiful. Lounge area really nice and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. It is self serve buffet but the choice was very good, from cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, waffle machine & of course the cooked breakfast items which were of good quality & hot. The reception staff were very pleasant & very helpful on suggesting restaurants nearby. The area in which the hotel is situated was very good for reaching the town centre, 5 min walk. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on staying in Dundee. We are looking forward to visiting again in the summer.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Dundee, 5 minutes walk to the high street. Rooms are small and tastefully decorated. The room was spotless, couldn’t fault it. The free breakfast was really tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here last week for a couple of nights when we visited the city and thought it was fantastic value for money. Rooms were lovely, modern and spotless. Breakfast was good with a good selection.

I will always look to stay in this chain whenever I can after this experience...

Was there in March on business and found the staff at reception to be professional but friendly too and competent.
Reception area and bar area pleasant too .
Breakfast very nice with continental and Full Scottish breakfast available on a self service basis and I liked the size of plates bring smaller than a dinner plate size but if you need more there is the option for refills .
Only small gripe is there was no fried egg option only scrambled ones but bacon and sausages first class.
Room too clean and functional with a good bed nice pillows to .
Would return

We had never previously stayed at a Hampton brand Hilton hotel, so this was an opportunity to experience it.

We were very impressed by the Hampton in Dundee - apart from the price, which was GBP 118 for two nights with complimentary breakfast for Hilton Honors members.

The room was comfortable, clean and functional. It had a very good walk in shower, and in general was much better than some standard rooms in older Hiltons.

The front desk staff also serviced the bar; the food menu was limited, but reasonably priced, and after all in a city centre like Dundee many people will eat out. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet, but the hot food was hot (rather than luke-warm and dried-up as often occurs with breakfast buffets) It included excellent haggis and freshly made scrambled eggs, as good as I have eaten in higher specification hotels.

We had a snack in the bar area on our last night; wine was reasonably priced at 4.50 for a 175ml glass. The starter type courses were under £6 each (chicken soup and chicken pakora).

The level of service offered by the staff was excellent; when the TV remote would not turn on the TV, one of the reception staff appeared with a new remote controller within 5 minutes of our call. They all went out of their way to be helpful.

We will certainly use Hampton by Hilton again.
