We arrived around 7pm and checked in at the Canny Man’s. Mark was so helpful on arrival showing us to our room and provided all the details on the room. The room was perfect, very modern and spotless. The Reed diffusers throughout the hotel smelt amazing! The bed was really comfy, we both had a great nights sleep.
We will definitely be returning when we next visit Edinburgh and will be recommending the hotel to friends & family!

We had an amazing stay here, we were upgraded to the Blue room on arrival. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but this one tops even them. The bed was huge and very comfy, one firm and one soft pillow, perfect. Full bath towels for getting out of shower not a wee tiny one like most hotels. Water tea and coffee in the room and a complimentary drink in Canny Man’s bar next door which was fabulous. I will def be back and have already recommended this hotel to all my friends. The room was spotless and massive as well as very quiet. The staff could not have been nicer and nothing was too much trouble. I never usually leave a review but I just had to as the hotel is amazing and excellent value for money, my husband couldn’t believe the price. We had travelled from Belfast to spend time with our son and his girlfriend otherwise we would not have left the hotel. There is nothing negative to say about The Lane, thanks for a wonderful stay.
What an absolute gem! Beautifully designed & clean room with lots of space and the bathroom was amazing!

Excellent hotel, perfectly located with superb decor.
Arrived early and we were able to access our rooms early. Parking at the Canny Man is handy. We were booked in for dinner at the Canny Man for dinner, owned by the same family, it to was brilliant.

Just returned from an amazing few days at The Lane Hotel! It was our first time in Edinburgh and stayed her for my wife & my 30th's. It was a lovely treat in such a beautiful hotel.

Amazing spot, fantastic hotel that we fully booked out, great for a group or family gathering. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor. Slightly outside the centre of Edinburgh, but plenty of buses and an Uber is about £8.. The bar and restaurant attached was just fantastic, really great staff and gorgeous food. They couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Thanks
