Arrived at the hotel on Sunday 5th March we were early for check in so went to have a bite to eat. We arrived back about 1pm and although our room wasn't ready duty manager Shanina gave us a lovely room. She was so helpful and pleasant with an infectious laugh. She is certainly a great asset to the hotel.

A WARM WELCOME !

Many thanks to the entire staff of the hotel. We received a warm welcome and the hotel had such a nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed the good care. Special thanks to Andrea for her hospitality (milgracias). We will definitely com back again.

Just as expected

Warm, friendly, just what we needed for a city centre location (with parking!) Short walk to Princes Street/Castle. Some exciting development happening across the road so this will be an even better located hotel in the future

Average Hilton

Poor bar menu for all family members and Kids, Lebanese Restraunt nkt for everyone. Expensive parking and no sign's to direct you to it. Average overpriced rooms. Premier inn much cheaper and just as good. Cheaper to park.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate the comments and feedback as it enables us to improve our product and service quality going forward. I’m sorry to read that your experience was far from perfect as this is not the usual quality and service that we pride ourselves upon at Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End. As a premium economy hotel, we always try to ensure that our guests feel at home without the fuss of some full-service hotels. Clearly, we fell short of expectation on this occasion.

Great stay, perfect location

The hotel location is perfect, close proximity to the old town but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Close to the tram and bus stop right outside. A few pubs, cafes etc close by too.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Answered any questions and provided recommendations.
My room was lovely and overall very clean. There is also a small gym with treadmills, weights etc.

Room tip: Complementary breakfast was nice but it got quite busy between 9am and 10am. Get the tram from the airport to the hotel.
