We liked this place very much. Will, Ve and kids were so kind and friendly that we felt like very close friends. Discussion about fishing, painting and sailing during the perfect breakfast they served us was extraordinary. Thanks for that! We hope Pablo finally found the treasure he was digging for with his bare hands and such a great enthusiasm. The Bamboo room was great for us while we stayed there just for one day.

We loved this place, the warm welcome from Ve and her lovely children was great. The pallet room was so comfortable, with a great ensuite shower.

We really felt part of the family, He and Will were so helpful, with advice on great walks that we were not aware of, The Waters of Leith was stunning, Ve recommended the Botan ic Gardens, superb. We should have taken a picnic as it was free entry.

There is a never ending supply of great pubs with reasonable food and drink all within a 15 minute walk from the b and b, so excellent location too.

Lastly, much was made of the breakfast, we loved the Italian twist, not giving the game away as it was a lovely surprise. Will absolutely stay there again

Room Tip: Can only comment on the Pallett room which was excellent.

Such kind words, Nuala.
Casa Hamilton is thrilled to hear such ringing endorsement. Our pallet room is very popular, with the en-suite, and I'm delighted our recommendations were to your pleasing.
And, you are correct, the immediate area has seen an increase a huge increase in small restaurants and cafes with more in the pipeline planned. Thank you for taking time out to review our B&B.
Best wishes,
Will & Ve

Such a warm, friendly welcome for my friend and I after a long and difficult train journey. Will, Ve and their children are a lovely family who run a unique place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. It's quirky, cosy, eclectic and full of unusual and brilliant upcycled items. We stayed in the Bamboo Room and, though tiny, was just right for us, with such comfy bunk beds that we both had very good sleeps throughout our stay.

Amazing breakfast - you MUST try the Jamaican porridge!

I had a wonderful two night stay at Casa Hamilton. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Will & Ve are super friendly and wonderful hosts. They were extremely helpful and responsive with my booking. During my stay, they made me feel right at home and were very helpful with suggestions and recommendations on things to do during my travels. My room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and they were very accommodating with food allergies. I truly can't wait to return to Edinburgh to stay with them again!

Thank you. It's warming to hear such kind words, and to know that we could be part of your time here in Scotland.
Should you be in Edinburgh again then do please stop by to say hello whether as a guest or for a catch-up and coffee.
Best wishes, Will & Ve

Will welcomed us and is such an interesting man and lovely family - the house feels like a home and yet has the luxury feel of a parisian boutique hotel. His up cycling is an art and it all looks new and pristine, clever and artistic.

Breakfast is delicious and he puts love into the cooking and we really felt his joy, peace and his eggs lovingly collected from the chickens.

Room Tip: Room with Big Bath is Luxurious
