Good location, clean room, nice fluffy towels, TV worked, if you time your run you can park outside free but St Andrews parking is not such a wonderful experience. Breakfast good, Bed comfortable...St Andrews is normally outstandingly expensive even for BnB but this was not so bad

Room Tip: I think that the street side rooms could be noisy during Students term time at weekend..but that's St Andrews for you

I visited Devernon House in June with my mother and it was amazing. We got a beautiful room at a more than fair price. Great breakfast and service. I strongly recommend you staying here.

There are a lot of choices when it comes to staying in St Andrews. Some better than others some not. You can compare prices and rooms but you can not compare the establishment,, the people running the establishment, the care and attention to detail. You can not compare to Graham and Marion at the Deveron House.
During my time there the meals were great, the attention to room cleanliness was very good and the wifi was good and strong. It is a location where they also can take care of your golf clubs and arrange for a taxi to a golf course or to the airport.
Good Scottish meals were always available in the morning. There is also a location for the smokers of this world. Attractions are not far from Deveron House and there is never a lack of things to do.
Going to St Andrews, be sure to look them up, preference would be to reserve as they are usually full or near capacity.

The beautiful B&B is situated in the heart of St. Andrews and the location makes it perfect whether heading out on Golf excursions or visiting the sights of the town. Owners Graham and Marion are amazing to deal with, they go out of the way to assist you in anyway in regards to the food selection and if you're just seeking info on nearby sites of Scotland. The University is located right across the street and is perfect for those wanting to visit St, Andrews on foot.
The breakfast every morning was so delicious and always had more cooked if you enjoy hearty meals. The coffee and juice always fresh and lots of fresh fruit to take on the go.
The B&B itself has history, built around 1840 and many characters from that era still exist within the house and in the back area where we enjoyed our morning coffee prior to breakfast being served.
Hope to return one day and this B&B is remarkable and highly recommended.

Spent a night at Deveron House in May 2017 whilst visiting the University on business.

It's a superb location - right opposite the University, and a short stroll from the high street or coast.

I received a very warm welcome from the hosts. My room was clean, tidy and simple - everything I needed with the very welcome addition of Tunnocks Teacakes.

Breakfast the next day was brilliant - a full Scottish breakfast with haggis. Hot and tasty it set me up well for the day ahead...

A great choice if you're visiting St Andrews for business or pleasure.
