I fell in love with this venue on our 3 day stay. We cheered the World Cup in the pub, drank tea in the formal gardens, enjoyed the gorgeous flowers and stately trees of the informal gardens, dined on fabulously prepared food, and were well cared for by the professional and friendly staff. We felt like we were in the country, yet St. Andrews and all it offers was just minutes away.

So please to be able to read your feedback - and we were delighted to see how much you enjoyed the hotel, restaurant, gardens and also the team. They do like to see when the hard work has gone down so well.

I stayed here as part of a 60th birthday celebration.

This is a beautiful country house hotel where the atmosphere was relaxing and the food very enjoyable, but what stood out above all was the quality of the staff. Without exception they were very genuinely friendly, helpful, and there when needed without being intrusive. Many of us noticed. As the 92 year old in the party said “they have been well trained” - high praise indeed! They made it truly a special weekend.

Very pleased to receive such high-praise - thank you.

We were delighted that the celebrations had gone so well - at the end of the day as long as we are providing the expected service, it is the group of friends and family who make these events so special.

Homely hotel just on outskirts of village. Impeccable taste and service along with great food. Overall experience relaxing and much preferred compared to the larger hotels locally wher the same individual service isn’t provided.

Thank you for the kind words, and whilst we know that there are other hotel options in town, feel that the level of service that we provide to the individual guests does make a huge difference.

With my best regards,

Excellent location and very freindly pepole which gave us an upgrade in a beautiful room with garden view. A nice restuarant with good food to dine at the arrival, no searching for restaurant in the city.

Underwhelmed by many aspects of the hotel (service, quality of cooking, room/facilities etc.)
Suite - dated and music player was very dated
Instant coffee in room - poor
Décor throughout seemed a bit of a mismatch
Trays outside room with unused food lay for at least 10 hours
Service at breakfast was abrupt
Key for room was very big
Service at checkout was quick but failed to ask for room key
The gardens were great however.

Sorry to read your comments - we have clearly missed the target on this occasion - it is rare for us to underwhelm our guests so much. We will take your comments on board as always.
