The moll and I visited the Platform at the Arches for a Friday treat and what a treat it was. So happy that Glasgow now offering a couple of venues to showcase local culinary talents and this one really hits the mark. Visiting on a Friday we were able to benefit the Friday specials with main meal and a soft drink a fiver. Great vibe, great staff and the culinary delights took us around the world. Quite busy for a Friday lunchtime but aware it was also a holiday for some.
The braised beef shin bun with slaw was stunning and the scallops with Orkneys finest black pudding on pea purée was off the scale and finishing off with a Catalan creme brûlée was the burnt sugar on the cake.
This will become a regular and hope local foodies go out and support and it can only grow.
