Visited with my partner on a Saturday evening after hearing very good things.
We waited a while for menus to come and for a drink order (weekend so fine), I ordered a vodka with soda and fresh lime and when it arrived some time later, it was in 4 separate glasses....(glass with vodka, glass with soda, shot glass of lime juice and a glass of ice?) never seen anything like it but ok - it was a talking point.
My partner had kale bhaji to start which were brilliant, couldn't fault them. There wasn't a check back at this point and we weren't asked when the table was cleared - there was no conversation from the server, it felt very awkward/unnattentive or we would have been complimentary of the food at this stage!
After this I then asked to see the drinks menu again, the waiter brought one over about ten minutes later but just didn't come back. Someone else brought our mains to the table but left before I could ask for a drink - it seemed impossible to get the attention of any staff for the duration of our visit, completely understand that it can get very busy but having worked in hospitality myself for years I was pretty astounded by the level of unattentiveness. There were no check backs during our mains which were also tasty thankfully, so no opportunity to express compliments for the food or to order any drinks. Just glad we had asked for water for the table at the start or we would have been pretty thirsty!
We waited a good while for the waiter to clear us after our mains and at this point just decided to get the bill.
The very good food was let down by very poor service, we would have gladly spent considerably more on drinks and dessert had this not been the case. Would be reluctant to return based on this experience which is a pity as there are other dishes on the menu we would love to try.

Went here for a birthday treat for mum who used to live here when it was a fire station. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was exceptional and amongst the best Indian food we have ever had. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants a great meal in brilliant surroundings to go here

We came to Glasgow on a family trip and it was late for a dinner in several places nearby and a couple of locals suggested us this place.

We ordered two appetisers and a main course, a tandoori lamb, and some musles in coconut sauce that we were expecting to be small portions but these plates were proper dishes. The main course was some prawns with rice. Everything was amazing, wonderful cuisine and the staff was absolutely incredible.

Among these three things, that we all shared, I'd said that the king prawns were the best but all the dishes were fantastic.

Last weekend was our first visit to Glasgow to celebrate Jordan's birthday. We chose to go to Swadish for his birthday meal - The best possible decision we could have made! The food was absolutely outstanding (some of the best we've ever eaten!), and so were the cocktails! The service was also exceptional - Both servers who looked after us were amazing, and even went above and beyond in making sure our dessert was nut-free!
We will definitely be visiting again to sample more of the menu, thank you for a fantastic evening!

Would 100% recommend! As a vegetarian customer, I was absolutely spoiled for choice. What stood out to me the most was the attention to detail, present in every single dish which tasted just as good as it looked. The cauliflower wings and mushroom soya curry in particular were mouth-watering! However, what makes Swadish unique is that it offers so much more than just superb food. The warm ambience, high quality service and extremely friendly staff significantly contribute to making the overall experience unforgettable!
