Been a few time to sit in with friends, it's under new name call Asia Ma, we order Thai style chicken, fried tofu with soya sauce, and salt chili crabs, we enjoy it, but dishes it's bit too big portion , we can't finish them. Nice and quiet place for chill out with friend to chat .

I thought the food was average and the service was poor. I would not go back when there are much better restaurants next door and round the corner.

What have you done to our favourite Asian restaurant? This is no longer Asia style - it's been renamed asiama.
We will not be back unless we hear it's changed a lot - it's ka ka lok or Asia gourmet round the corner for us now.
Pale imitation of what it used to be - where's the free tea gone? Where's the Malaysian pancakes? ( "we don't do them any more - everyone asks for them" - err, yes, there's a reason why everyone asks for them)
Prices seem to have gone up, quality down - a toxic mix

Absolutely gutted to see the restaurant I have regularly visited become a bog standard Chinese restaurant.

The name change should have been the first indication. The absence of jasmine tea, the second. The unavailability of the soft- shelled crab the third.

What really got me was the Szechuan chicken. For years I have travelled to St. George's Road to get it as it was sublime. Unique in Glasgow as served in barter on a hot plate. A sizzling pile of divine. Now it has no batter, is served lukewarm and on a regular plate. Gutted doesn't cut it.

It must still be good food evidenced by the number of Chinese students who were eating at the same time as us, but it won't tempt me back from the Southside again.

Alternatively, aka Ka Lok beside it is lovely.

Gutted.

Completely new owners/chef, confirmed by lovely new young waiter struggling with all the complaints. Goodbye Asia Style, hello average Chinese restaurant.
