We were given an apartment but I would say although it could sleep more than two only suitable for two persons, one bedroom. Equipment was excellent and staff very friendly and very good laundry facilities.

Room Tip: lovely landscaped gardens and site no extra facilities only self catering accommodation

We were a party of 4 and we were impressed by the spacious apartment we had. Two good size bedrooms with one on suite. Kitchen facilities were very good and implements and wifi were all easy to use. We found the price reasonable and enjoyed spending some time in the town using our place as a base. This is a typical time share and as such it's always kept in immaculate condition. Very impressed.

Room Tip: room or suite 66 is very good

Came here for a week in June. we caught the train up to aviemore from Birmingham new street took about 7 hours with 1 change but was definitely worth it the scenery was stunningly beautiful. was only a 10-12 min walk once we got off at aviemore to get to this village. it's tucked away up a side road and very peaceful and quiet once your in Scandinavian village complex with stunning mountains as your view. apartments are well maintained and modern. you have your own patio with a bench outside . there is barbecue equipment to use for free also a laundry free to use with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers and an iron plus soap powder you just help yourselves. all apartments have a cooker and fridge tv etc and crockery and utensils to cook your food. everything is very peaceful here didn't come across any rowdy people was not that kind of place. The surrounding wildlife was nice plenty of bunnies and birds . very clean areas the grass well maintained. it did us the world of good coming here definetly felt better in ourselves as a result. the village of aviemore is just short walking distance away with different shops and local bus services to get around. there's a Tesco express which is helpful . also an information centre to go and enquire about local things to do. we found this very helpful. there's cafes and a chip shop which is very expensive and the portions are ridiculously small so don't expect to be fed . there's other local take always and restaurants. also there's a lovely big Delhi shop that's not far from the Scandinavian village sells really nice foods and gifts and clothes. and there's a hotel that will let u use there facilities for £30 for the week they have sauna steam room swimming pool and Jacuzzi and a small gym and sun loungers inside. I would definetly return to the Scandinavian village it has a lovely walking path as well that you can go on with swings in the trees . would definitely recommend. we were sad to come back home :(.

We rented this from a timeshare owner and got it at a very reasonable price for the week.

The villa accommodation comprises of a double bedroom and a room with 2 bunk beds . The accommodation is of a good standard but I feel it is on the small side if at full occupancy.

The location is perfect, 5 min walk right into aviemore centre. It is also right next to the macdonald highland resort so you can use facilities, however at a price ! Macdonald now charge £30 per adult and £20 for a child aged 4 or over for a weeks pass to the swimming pool, there are no day passes or three day passes as there used to be .

The grounds of the development are immaculate and there is a small play park for young visitors. The reception staff were friendly and a DVD library helps keep young ones entertained on wet days. The villa was also had a well equipment kitchen.

The only down side is the A9 is close and you will hear the traffic at night of windows are open which spoils the 'countryside getting away from it all feeling'.

Overall if the price was right I would stay here again.

This place is fairly small. The kitchen was spectacular with everything you need. The bathroom was small with a tight shower stall. The Bedroom is big enough for the beds and nothing much; it has a bunk bed and two side by side beds. The living is ok; it has 1 sofa bed that was uncomfortable to sleep on and a tv. All in all the place was ok to spend the night in, but not to hang around in as it's too small. Be careful with your electricity usage as you have to pay for it upon checkout.
