I am not sure where to start! Ascetically it looks ok, but not to what you would expect from a 4 star. The reception area looks ok, but keep your eyes away from the queue at reception; it was virtually out of the door, with one receptionist on! 1hr and 20mins in the queue to check in (and that was after a 2nd receptionist was added after 30 mins). Then there is the room… a cosy double room … wow they take the word cosy to the extreme! The spare pillows are meant to be in the wardrobe haha, not enough room for a wardrobe here! Small bed fine but one of you will be licking the wall during the night! Room is dated, marks all over the wall, ceiling cracked all the way round, fly/midges eggs (can’t confirm exactly) in the corners, with previous occupants milk left in room ( correct no fridge, just in the room) and also used soap in the bathroom. Ok the size of the room…to put it in to perspective the Premier Inn Hub’s rooms are bigger!
This Hotel is NOT a good 4 Star - I’d say it is classed as a 4 Star due to the facilities it ‘offers’, sadly some are closed so not classed imo. IMHO, this is at best a poor 3 star, bordering 2 Star. This is no Premier Inn, no I wouldn’t rate a Premier Inn so bad! Staff btw at the reception are great, but overworked.

Room tip: If you do have to stay here, avoid booking in between 1600 and 1800hrs.

Huge que at reception to greet and check in all guests, 2 members of staff were on at the 4pm check in, after 10 minutes one of the receptionists left (during a busy spell of check ins!) 20/25 minutes to finally check in at reception. Very confusing directions to find our hotel room. Room was beyond basic, clearly dirty floors, floors and ceilings were so creaky we were constantly woken up by people walking around, no air ventilation so the room was far too hot all night, even with the window open. extremely disappointed to have this experience, especially when paying £160 for one nights stay! Breakfast buffet was lovely, and the staff there were very pleasant in the buffet area.
Sad to see such a run down space, in which use to be THE place to stay. Wouldn’t look to return to this place again - Or at least until we get what we pay for!

My family and I stayed for a night, mid road trip. Room was adequate, facilities and breakfast were good. Busy hotel and not much of a personal touch.

No hot water on the morning of departure and no apology offered.

Just back from weekend with friends at this hotel.
Not the cheapest hotel £350 for 2nights.
Room was a joke. Double bed was against wall. No drawers or wardode. It was a poor single bed room at best. Went to ask for room change, only answer i got was we are full no spare rooms, i can get you the manager if you want a refund was the answer..
Hotels wasnt clean. Lobby not hoovered or dusted in days. Previous nights glasses still in lounge/bar. Final straw was serving drinks in plastic glasses. Loads of dirty glasses pilled up nor getting washed. Regrettable stay.
Will never return to this hotel.

Having stayed at the Coylumbrridge Hotel numerous times during my childhood, I was looking forward to sharing the experience with my own family. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the overall experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

1. Rude reception staff who have no interest in providing a positive experience for their guests.
2. A queue to check in which extended all the way from reception to main entrance of the hotel.
3. Corridors smelling heavily of bleach and or disinfectant.
4. Dated rooms with a tiny bath and no hot water on the 2nd day of our visit.
5. A common lounge area which didn't look as though it had been cleaned in months, with dirty tables.and worn furniture.
6. A pool area in serious need of updating with significant areas of damp on the ceiling.
7. No indication when booking dinner bed and breakfast that the 'dinner' was in fact a buffet arrangement severely lacking in any quality.
8. Waiting staff with limited ability to communicate in English who have no knowledge of even the basic drinks available.
9. Poor hygiene standards with cross contamination of serving spoons and dishes.
10. A demand to pay for dinner drinks before being allowed breakfast rather than pay on check out like every other hotel I've ever stayed in.

It's very sad to see the decline in standards in this once fine hotel which in no way should have been awarded the 4 stars it apparently holds.
