We spent a night in the family room which was really nice, particularly the bathroom which was huge with a nice Italian shower.
Breakfast was good and fresh.
The only bad points would be firstly the swimming pool which is not large and with the swimmers coming from outside the hotel (plus the swimming lessons), you don't have much place. Secondly the staff is OK, but could be more warm and personalize the stay.

Dear Guest.

Thank you for your guest review. I am glad you were delighted with the quality and the standard of the bedrooms. You were staying in a luxury family room type.

The points on the leisure club are what they are, they leisure club will not be extended in the forseeable future. We do only allow two swim parties in of a weekend day. Usually at 2pm and 3pm in the leisure club diary, every Saturday and Sunday. From a hotel leisure club point of view the facilities are very comprehensive however small in comparison to publiclly operated leisure centers, however there is something for everyone.

The second point I will focus on, was the feedback that you found the front desk team to do thir oewn work,

Kind Regards

Craig Ewan

Whilst in the area for business I always stay in this hotel. The leisure facilities are excellent and it's the best hotel in the area. Staff are nice and friendly and the room I had was nice and big. Food was excellent too. Overall a very good comfortable 2 night stay.

Nice hotel, 15 mins walk to the center of Inverness. I stayed in the old (not renovated) part of the hotel. Reception was very nice and helpful. My only reservation is about housekeeping. Found an old soap (used) in the shower. Apart from this, the stay was very good.

I stayed with friends in November last year and returned again for the kids half term.
We just love this hotel. The staff are absolutely brilliant from portering to house keeping to pool staff to restaurant waiting staff.
Returned home yesterday after a two night stay with my children and friends.
We stayed in room 19, good choice of room. My friend was upstairs and her room seemed a lot warmer so I was happy to be on the ground floor. Heating is exceptional, it is always so cozy and I have to say the hotel is kept spotlessly clean.
Food in the restaurant was very food on Friday night. They always manage to muck up the bill though, however this was very quickly rectified without any questions asked.
Breakfast was also very good, we ordered extra coffee and stayed a lot longer than normal chattering, we did not feel rushed or unwelcome at any time.
Now comes the negatives......
The pool - very warm and poolside was clean. However, and this makes me absolutely mad. There was lessons going on in the pool on Saturday morning, this made it near on impossible for the five of us to swim and play with the kids at this time. As a paying hotel guest who specifically booked this hotel again and again because it has a pool this should not be allowed. We had to swim at this time as we were notified that there was kids pool parties in the afternoon on the Saturday and Sunday.
We gave up and came out after getting in the way of the lessons. Pretty poor, the hotel should really look at this closely as it would put folk off.
The ladies changing room at this time was chock a block with kids getting showered, meant we had to stand and wait ages for a shower- there is only 2!?!?!
Dirty towels left on the floor and it had no air conditioning on so it was absolutely stifling.
Different story altogether on the Sunday where we had a very different experience and much more enjoyable as there was no lessons!
Unfortunately there was an 'incident' on the first floor which caused us to wake up at 3:45am to banging and shouting. Hotel not to blame for this but we were 1/2 asleep on check out!!
Would definitely book again as location for us is perfect.

Room tip: Rooms on the ground floor is best .....or in the kingsclub

Visited in Feb 17. Booked in just after 1pm and asked if we could use the pool. The answer was yes but be aware that there was a children's pool party at 3pm, which we managed to miss. We had booked ourself into the spa for some treatments and it was an amazing relaxing experience. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but did have breakfast and there was plenty of choice and you were not rushed at all. Will definitely stay again.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for your guest review, delighted you enjoyed your stay and to hear you intend to return again.

We do operate children's pool parties, however limit them to two on a saturday and two on a sunday. These are usually 2pm and 3pm for an hour each.
