We stopped here as we were pushed for time and thought this would be a quick bite for us. Not an attractive stop (car park) or on entering. However we were there for food. We both ordered haddock and chips - took AGES and I know how long a chippy takes to fry a fish as I have often had one cooked fresh. When it arrived it had a strange type of batter - thought it was breaded (that would have been a bonus) but wasn't sure! Bit overcooked, and fish not as fresh as I'm used to, but not off in any way I must emphasise. Chips were home chipped, but not crisp - kinda soggy.
I'm afraid next time I'm hungry when I'm passing, I'll just have a packet of crisps and wait till the next place!
