The hotel is located in front of a beautiful loch and that the only good thing I can say about this hotel. The hotel and the room was very old and dusty and the bed was uncomfortable. In the middle of the night someone tried to break into our room, later on we discovered it was a couple that tried to open our door as they didn't get help from the staff but at the moment when going to the front desk there was no one and the doors of the hotel stayed open to anyone to enter. The clerk finally arrived and laughed without any understanding of our situation and without saying sorry. This event caused us to stay most of the night awake as we didn't feel secure.

At the morning the hotel is serving bad breakfast

Excellent restaurant with helpful staff. Good hotel well situated albeit 5 minutes drive to Town centre. Staff were very attentive and helpful. This is an excellent 3 star hotel and appears to be very popular.

We spent 2 nights here and had a nice second floor room with a balcony and view view of the Loch. The room was a typical motel room, nothing fancy. It was a good home base for our travels around Fort William. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was bland, the portions were small and the service was just 'ok'. I honestly think my bacon at breakfast was boiled. To be honest, both times we ate there it felt like we were visiting elderly relatives at an assisted living facility. We had much better dining options in town.

Staff were extremely helpful and tried hard to find us a water view but we unable. Our room was a good size and bathroom has been upgraded. Only draw back TV so small we could not watch anything.
Breakfast was good and the restaurant was great we ate there both nights. Again staff were really good

A biker doesn't just get on his bike. He also likes to talk about it while his engine is warming up for 15min. Management should consider this before renting a room next to the bikers parking. When you also don't even have inner curtains on the windows, the result is 0% privacy. Adding to this the moisture smell in the room... Not worth the price by far. Staff is friendly. Breakfast about average.
