Hubby booked it, told me it was 3 stars and my heart sank. This place is seriously under starred!
Check-in
Friendly and helpful, very personable and gave us a tour of the lodge and explained everything. So friendly-thank you.
The lodge
Very very clean, well presented, good quality furnishings, fantastic big window in living room to look over the hills (I say mountains but hubby says no!) Excellent shower with great water pressure.
The area
Train station is close by (few minutes walk) and we highly recommend a trip over Rannoch Moor.
Lots of wildlife in the area. Fort William has lots of place to pick up food to cook in your lodge- it’s well stocked with cooking utensils/pots etc so it’s easy to cook up a hearty meal after walking locally.
Overall-a brilliant stay, highly recommend!! Thank you!

This is a lovely site. Toilets are kept spotless as are all the othe facilities. Unfortunately, during my stay, there were a group of inconsiderate campers who disturbed others with their noise. However, the owners dealt swiftly with this and apologised to those affected so it will not put me off from returning.

We stayed in one of the self-catering lodges. It was a decent size for a couple. The living room / kitchen would be confining for a family but fine for a couple. Facilities were generally good in the lodge - impressed to find the Denby crockery! Bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. Decent WiFi, if that's important to you (there was no phone signal in the area).

Niggles - I think towels and electricity costs should be included in a fixed price. I can understand electricity charges for campervans but not lodges. Whilst there isn't a fixed definition of "self-catered" I think if you provide bed linen, you provide towels. You've got to decide who your market is on that one.

Trish, David, James and Peter were very hospitable and I think they'll transform the site into a really great place to stay. They provided great information about the local area and make useful suggestions for local places to eat.

I really enjoyed being on a campsite and was slightly envious of those actually camping. There was a lovely atmosphere.

Very much recommend it.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, your comments have been noted, we did run a trail including electricity for a short period, we found that electric radiators were being left on unnecessarily, if we charge at cost customers they only pay for what they have used, if we included it the price would be set to cover high users, and that would not be fair. Regards David and Trish.

We had a lovely holiday at Bunroy Park using both a lodge and a pod - both particularly welcome in the wet weather! The owners were kind and helpful and the facilities were all clean and provided for all our needs. We will be staying again and recommending Bunroy Park to our friends.
