Visited following a reccomend and not disappointed in any way.
Service, location and food excellent.
Reasonable price except the wine which seems excessively priced all over Scotland for a run of the mill New Zealand sauvignon blanc.

We chose the place based on the beautiful location by the lake and because it looked really cozy. But that was it. The food was average at most, while the prices were too high for the quality of what was served. I had a daily special: hack fillet in hazelnut crust with swordfish and asparagi risotto on the side. It was ok. The fish was slightly undercooked while the risotto was way overcooked, but it wouldn't have bothered me so much if I wasn't paying 22£ for that. My friends had a similar experience as mine (major complaint being that the food was clearly lacking in salt). On the plus side, the portions were abundant, the service fast and our waitress nice. Morevoer, the dessert -chocolate cake with mango gelato and passion fruit cream- was outstanding (even if it cost 7£...).

We were with a small tour group of couples. Had a wonderful lunch with wine and beer and varieties of seafood. Got a kick out of the ladies room - windows looking out over the water and fresh roses! Friendly and casual atmosphere. Even bought a couple of their handmade olive oil decanters they used on the tables.

Make sure you book a table as very busy! Lovely atmosphere and staff very professional and pleasant! We ordered from the ‘specials’ board and was not disappointed. I had a good nosey at most of the other meals that came out of the kitchen and they all looked delicious! We sat near the window and had a lovely view of the Loch which was a bonus! Would highly recommend as the prices were very reasonable.

We had reservations here for dinner and really enjoyed the views. It's right on the water, and as such parking is a bit of a challenge. There are a couple of spots in front but don't count on them - there is a pay parking lot for the city a walkable distance down the road that is a better choice. Back to the restaurant itself, you'll find lots of fresh fish, mussels, and other seafood. It's not a huge menu but all very well prepared and served.
