The tour guide was incredibly sweet and knowledgable about his home country. I forget his name, but it was an older man who seemed to be doing this for a long time.
My only complaint was that since the weather was a bit shabby we stayed in the car and drove around a lot— but at the time I was well for it in Ireland's cold mountains! Also, the town and restaurant they took us to was incredibly shabby. The food was typical at Poppies- lots of starches and less meat! Other than that the German burial ground, Wicklow mountains and abbey were precious!

We had the most amazing time touring with Johny. He kept the time traveling interesting with anecdotes, facts and legends. He also has a great feeling for his customers: he tried to relate locations/stories to the nationalities of the ones in his car, tried out some jokes, ... The activities were also great. We were meant to go for a hike, but the weather was not that gentle with us so Johny immediately proposed us to do the gardens instead; very happy for the advice! The tour also had a good balance between staying in the car and hopping out for some decent sight-seeing.

I love Irish landscape, but I have to say I could have enjoyed it so much more if the guide had given us more time. We were really looking forward to the walking tour to admire some beautiful landscape, but instead all we did was to walk through some farms and forest. There were hardly any stops in between. The rest of the day were trips to Glendalough, the bridge, the monastery, the upper lake, and others. All the stops were never more than 20 minutes, which was a pity as we really love the magnificent views of Glendalough. And if you were late, the guide Johnny, either threatened to leave you behind or preached to you for the rest of the day (even though he was late during the morning pick up). At first, I liked Johnny's humour, but he should know that there's a very fine line between being humourous and being rude. Also, we could not enjoy stories about Irish history without him making a joke about the Dutches on the tour as well.

Overall, great views but too many stops, too little time and a not so great guide have ruined what could have been a wonderful experience.

The tour was fantastic So many beautiful locations and Johnny, the guide we had, was fantastic. He had a great sense of humour and did a good job of watching over us. The actual trip went through so many beautiful places and the walking tour was great. I highly recommend this for people who want to see the country side and have a fun day. The bus was also nice.

we had another great day out with Hilltop Treks climbing in the Mournes and were overlooking wonderful Carlingford lough. Weather wise we were so lucky and enjoyed wonderful sunshine. with Terry and the crew from Hilltop Treks , we were seemlessly transported from Dublin city centre to the wonderful Mournes.
