Could not believe all the variety of animals here. Was a wonderful self guided tour. Lions, monkeys, orangutan, giraffe, okapi, elephants, too many to name. Well worth the money. Loved it. Would absolutely return.

I have been to may zoos all over the world and this is near top of my list. Beautiful soroundings, fantastic enclosures for the animals and informative presenters! The orangutan enclosure at feeding time is well worth it as they hang round on the ropes above your head and you get a good close up view. I would advise taking your own food as that was the only disappointment- ok for the kids but not really the adults. There are picnic bench’s to have your own food on.

I am not big into seen animals in cages, but this zoo seems reasonable, the animals looked well looked after and the staff seem to enjoy their jobs, with is a plus, the zoo runs some interesting events trough the year!
