On our first visit to Dublin, Patrick Guilbaud was recommended to us by the concierge at the Shelbourne Hotel (thank you Alan)
We were greeted by warm welcoming staff who showed us to our table immediately. All staff during our fine dining experience while being attentive were in no way over bearing. The maître d recommended the a la Carte menu and the food throughout was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again when in Dublin.

A very enjoyable evening having dinner there. The Maitre d’ was very attentive and professional and the waiters as well. It felt like being back in France having a top class dinner. Food was superb but what I enjoyed most was being able to smoke a cigar and have an Armagnac in the heated conservatory after dinner.
Merci à toute l’équipe, bravo.

Visited on a busy Saturday night. The lounge was too full when we arrived for a pre dinner drink which was disappointing. Had to go to Cellar bar. Loved the buzz of the restaurant. Waiting staff very attentive but not intrusive throughout. Love the big tables & the fact that you're not right beside others. We started with 2 Bellini & had 3 courses for €120. Wasn't a fan of the amuse Bouche of fois gras. Lobster Ravioli & croquettes beautiful. We both had venison which was exquisite but a tiny portion. Puréed potato was delicious. Desert of citrus soufflé was amazing. The petit fours were fabulous & the presentation of truffles at the end was a lovely touch. Wine list extensive & our bottle was beautiful. Filled up regularly by sommelier. The bill of €380 was extremely steep but you are paying for the experience. Would recommend for a very special occasion.

Just returned from Dublin and ate at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. I had not been there in a few years, and it was fabulous! They have remodeled since the last time we dined there and the dining room is lovely and sophisticated. The food was heavenly, service wonderful and the wine list was excellent. I thought the dining experience was worth every penny! Will always dine here when in Dublin.

Were quite surprised by the size of the restaurant but the tables are spaced widely apart creating a private feeling. The service was excellent. The wine list is more than adequate. The food is excellent. It is best to have a look at the menu on their website. It changes seasonally. Pictures on the website looks as tastefully as the food was. Well worth making an effort to have dinner here.
