This is an amazing place with character. Sea view gorgeous but make sure to ask for sea view when booking or you won't get it (may have to pay extra). Well served by DART and busses in terms of public transport- one bus to University College Dublin but about 40min with traffic. Lots of shops and food places around if you don't want to eat from hotel.
Swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hydro therapy free for guests. One thing bring flip flops and swimming caps - if not can buy it from them but swimming cap was so flimsy not worth buying it there. But all of these were fab.
Food: full breakfast is 15 euros and is gorgeously presented. My only criticism would be guests mixing spoons for veg and non veg items - not hotel's fault though. I'm not vegetarian so it wasn't a problem for me. Cold food, hot items, fruit, everything I tried was good. There are several restaurants for lunch - dinner. I had dinner once and the burger I ordered was massive and so tasty. Presentation was excellent. There was a fireplace and we sat next to that it was so cosy. Highly recommend.
It is facing Dun Laoghaire pier and I took a walk to see sunrise it was simply amazing (photos attached).
I really enjoyed my two nights stay here and would definitely come back if I'm back in Dublin.
