The bus station is directly behind the hotel and the square is only a few paces away. There are plenty of bars and restuarants across the road and in the near vicinity. Ideal location if you are visiting galway for the rugby as the official connaght supporters bar is opposite.
The shopping centre is only minutes away by foot -so all in all the location is excellent.
The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay and again this was varied and well worth it. You had a choice of hot breakfast (small or large irish/ scrambled eggs/eggs benedict etc) a variety of cold choices such as cereals, ham/cheese, toast, jam etc., in fact everything you would expect for a hotel breakfast.
The hotel staff were friendly and informative and the bar area was pleasant and bar staff friendly.
I would definitely stay here again.

We chose the hotel as being convenient for the bus station and the town. Our room was on the top floor at the back, not a great view but clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and friendly, very quick to provide an extra chair and an extension lead for the hairdryer. Breakfast was fine for the price (full Irish included cereals, bread/toast/scones/croissants with ham/cheese, and unlimited coffee). Wifi was great throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The Hotel is a little dated, but it appears that they are currently renovating some areas. It is however centrally located to access the pedestrian areas of the city. The downtown can be very busy in the afternoon. Recommend parking at the Fairgreen parking garage next to the train station and walking to the hotel as there is no place to stop and drop off bags in front of the hotel,

Room Tip: Some rooms back onto a courtyard that can be very nosy at night as I believe that it is used by patrons of the hotel bar

Easy check in, comfortable room with good amenities. Dinner in the hotel was lovely, something for all tastes on the menu. The restaurant team were all lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was also lovely, great selection. Hotel was quiet and got a good night's sleep. Excellent location right beside the train and bus station. Would stay again.

Stayed there for a 2 day break in Galway city ,very convenient to city centre, rooms comfortable, breakfast very good.pleasently surprised because for may 180 for 2 nights really good ,staff very pleasant.

Room Tip: Lift is slow and opens and closes quickly I'd go for a room near the floor if I could.
