It's a bit far from the center, but the parking is really a positive point. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast. The pool was closed because of the season, but it look perfect for summer. Would recommend.

Dear TripAdvisor Member,
Thank you for sharing your excellent recommendation.
Our bedrooms and our breakfast buffet were big pluses but our complimentary car-parking was a major advantage.
There aren't too many hotels in Galway city now that offer free parking and so may spaces so we're delighted you appreciate our facilities.
We hope to see you again at the Clybaun Hotel in the future!

Kind regards,
Dermot Hogan

It's not the first time we stayed in this hotel but I just wanted to say the welcome has improved. We were greeted by an Irish guy at reception who's name escapes me but was very nice and helpful. We also spoke with Aisling. She was so nice bubbly and helpful.
When we had dinner our waiter was fantastic. A real professional. He remembered 8 orders and side orders without a problem. Dinner was very tasty as was breakfast with a great selection.
The only downside was the room was so warm. Clean but too warm. The hotel needs to look army getting it's air con sorted.
Apart from that well done Clybaun. We will be back (with a fan)

We stopped here for lunch
We had been here before for afternoon tea
The food especially my wife's fish as part if the fish and chips was amazing. Nothing fancy just looked good with quality everything.
Curry was delicious and the naan bread was not like most and was soft and fresh
Staff very pleasant

On a recent trip to Galway, we stayed at the Clybaun Hotel for three nights. We booked this hotel through TripAdvisor which was easy and allowed us to get a better rate.

I must say that the staff was friendly and helpful. Before we even arrived, they were able to talk us through getting to the hotel when our GPS was not working on our phone. This was appreciated.

The map provided by the desk clerk was helpful navigating to and from the hotel.

Check in was easy, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free wifi was appreciated. Not sure why we were given a handicap accessible room (we did not ask for one). The shower area in the bathroom splashed water on the bathroom floor from the way it was set up. We did not ask for a room change, but we were more careful when showering.

We ate at the hotel restaurant each night. We enjoyed the options and meals, although the temperature in the restaurant was a bit warm. We appreciated the chef stopping at our table to check on the meals. I wished when I had booked the room, I had picked the option of including breakfast.

Worth the visit!

Dear TripAdvisor Member,
We are delighted to hear that your recent stay at the Clybaun Hotel went so well.
Before even arriving at the hotel our friendly and helpful staff made an impression by advising you on directions to the hotel.
The handy complimentary maps at reception for all of our guests also proved useful once you had arrived in Galway.
Your positive feedback about our bedrooms and also our restaurant are greatly appreciated.
We hope that this worthwhile visit is the first of many more trips to the Clybaun!

Let's begin with the positives. Marta, our server two days in a row, has an incredible personality. Very attentive, quick and thorough. She went above and beyond all of our needs, every step of the way. The food is great, hot and fresh. The menu is varied and allows for even the pickiest of eaters. The restaurant is a bit warm for my taste, but just drink a cold beer and it becomes a second thought. If you get a chance, stop in!
