we went as a group the chef(owner) let people watch as he prepared some of the dishes and the wife(owner) and children served. Great food and service the lamb broth was like my mother used to make. Nice setting and good service were enjoyed.

We LOVED staying here and the staff is wonderful! There is no lunch/dinner but they serve a delicious breakfast!:) We bought wine in town and sat in the lobby each night and chatted with the other guests. They have a lovely fireplace and comfortable sofa and chairs in their lobby. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and spacious. Parking is available right out front. We will stay here again!:)

We visited John & Freda Sheehan's B & B called the 19th Hole for a dinner and cookery lesson. John is an amazing chef and he made us feel welcome in his kitchen as he prepared Potato Soup and Salmon. It was great to hear all the cooking tips from the chef himself. As we sipped on our wines we ate cold starters followed by soup, vegetable stew, salmon and boxti (a potato cake). There was a choice of Apple Crumble or Cream Torte for dessert.
We were made to feel like special guests in their lovely B & B guesthouse.

Fantastic guesthouse, great price per room with breakfast included! And probably the best Iris breakfast I've ever had. Staff was really helpful and friendly! Too bad that we only stayed one night. We will surely come back!

Owner very helpful. Cooked tasty home cooked meal for our group. Great breakfast with a great choice is cooked to order. Rooms very large and comfortable. Lounge area has an open fire and is really great to sit and chat and socialise. Great location for walks and hill climbs and sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Freda for all your help and hospitality and good humour.

Room Tip: Rooms to the front have great views.
