Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2015. Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket which included freshly baked scones and a bottom me of wine. Our cottage was perfect for us and we had lots of room. Staying was myself my husband, 16 year old daughter and her best friend and our 11 year old daughter. During the day we could stroll around the grounds of the cottages and play some tennis in the back garden. The courtyard is the perfect base for anyone who's looking to see Kerry and all its glory. We did so much while we were there and found these cottages perfect for our little break away.

We first came across the Courtyard Cottages in 2009 more by chance than design following a search on the internet. The cottages looked so appealing. We booked in for our holiday in June of that year and we were very impressed the Courtyard didn't disappoint. Myra and Derry are a lovely welcoming couple. We stayed in one of the middle cottages and loved its cosy comfort. Everything was spotless and the welcome basket was a lovely idea. We have stayed there every year since then and twice one year which included a significant birthday, and where better to stay. I was delighted and surprised when on my birthday Myra arrived with a birthday cake and candles; it was so thoughtful and a lovely treat. Our daughters come down to join us at the week end and consider it a home from home. Having a large number of relatives in the area it is lovely to be able to invite them for a meal and a relaxed evening with us at the Courtyard. We have stayed in the first cottage [my favourite], the middle one and the end cottage, but it doesn't matter what cottage you stay in, Myra will always do her best to facilitate you, all the cottages are comfortable, roomy and well appointed. We're going back again this autumn, already booked in and we can't wait for September in the Courtyard. Many thanks to Myra for her wonderful hospitality.

Spent three nights in the fantastic courtyard cottages over the Easter holidays. This is our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first time we stayed. Myra is such a fantastic host and you feel like you step into a different world on arrival in the stunning cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I and our two small boys and the attention to detail and the stunning decor is second to none. We can't wait to book again. I can fully understand why Myra has such a demand for bookings as it is such a terrific place to stay. We will be back again very soon.

Myself and two friends visited Courtyard Cottages for two nights over last weekend. Our experience was absolutely fantastic!!

When we arrived at the cottage Myra (the landlady) was there ready to greet us. She showed us around the cottage and after some friendly suggestions about our stay she allowed us to settle in.

Not only was the cottage immaculately clean, there were also homemade scones (which we enjoyed for breakfast), a bottle of red wine and chocolates left for us as a welcome present. The essentials, such as butter, tea bags, salt etc, were also provided by our very generous host.

The cottage was extremely impressive. We stayed in a two bed cottage, one double and a single. There was an en suite adjoining the twin room with a large bathroom right next to the master room. A very functional, large kitchen had all essential crockery, a fridge, cooker, microwave and dining area. The living room was cosy with large sofas and a real fire!!

The house was warm and inviting. However, I would like to highlight the level of hospitality we experienced. Myra was an absolute gem who was attentive and extremely generous!

Myra, expect to see those three girls from Dublin again soon! Many thanks!

Room Tip: Do not hesitate to book a stay here....it is FANTASTIC!!!
