Walked in off the street at 7.30 and was shown to a table. The young staff were absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly and smart. We ate from the set menu and everything was well presented and delicious. Couldn’t find fault with it at all. They were turning people away so we were lucky to get a table and I’d recommend booking.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on a long journey and had a steak sandwich and liver and bacon. Both meals were very good. Only criticism would be that the steak sandwich was presented in a way that was not practical to eat.

Busy restaurant in the middle of town.
Nice menu and service was efficient. Steak I ordered was supposed to be cooked to medium but it was well overcooked but still tasted good..

Called here on spec as I had read some pretty good reviews. We were quickly shown to our seats and given the menus. We were told there would be a bit of a wait as the food is cooked fresh, this is positive as so few hotels/restaurants cook from scratch. The brown bread we were given while we waited was really good.

Mains were good, steak was cooked to perfection the chicken was also good however I did ask for the sauce on the side- it came under the chicken.

Deserts were very good a chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream was one of ours, the dessert trio was the other. Great value at €20 for two courses.

The food was excellent - I have fish on both nights - salmon and cod with lobstar tail - both excellent.

Lovely buzz in the restaurant too - both inside and outside - they have a few outdoor tables. Great service too.

So good I came back a 2nd time :)
