We visited on 27th June 2018 and temp was 28° so we went to the house only and we really enjoyed it. There are walks too, but it was too hot!! The gardens looked beautiful.

Dear Female60s,

Thank you so much for your kind review, it means a lot to us.

Glad you found the house interesting. It certainly has a rich and varied history and it's also a cool place to be when our Irish weather gets too much!

We hope you come back again for another visit to enjoy the grounds when the weather cools off.

Kind regards,

Liz

Do not come here with young children! We paid €57 for a family of 4! Children were not allowed on pirate ship, log flume or pedal swans! None of this was advised from outset!! Toilets are pitiful! A complete waste of time

Dear BronaghOBrien,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comments.

We sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience. It is unfortunate that your children were unable to participate in some of our attractions but for health and safety reasons we must adhere to the manufactures recommendations in relation to height and age restrictions.

We do aim to provide attractions that would suit all ages and this year we have added new elements such as the inflatable obstacle course, sand kitchen and fairy trail for our younger guests.

We will also look at our cleaning schedule and we hope to improve this going into the future.

If you would like to discuss anything further with us don't hesitate to call us on 098 27766.

Kind regards,

Liz

Brought my wife & 9yr old son in, after paying a whopping €27.50 in was told after most of the kids attraction weren't open, should have been told what exactly was open for kids before not after our money was taken by staff,- 'money for old rope'we went on a swan paddle boat, water log splash, then went on a go car, joke, peddle powered just about got in as he has long legs suitable 4/5yr olds. He had no interest in the house itself, very little else for him & us to do, wont be back & certainly wont be recommending it to anyone by along shot....

Was once a pillar of camping but showers need looking at and everything stops on Sunday night and don't open again until Wednesday. Over priced and no investment in campers facilities. Left a day early. Expensive for what's there. Talked to other overseas visitors and they weren't happy either. Needs overhall
