“Very run down and disappointing”
Reviewed 26 August 2009

When I arrived at the reception of these holiday homes i felt like turning back it is dreadful and terrible shabby , The home we stayed in was clean and was only missing the light bulb in the main bathroom , some of the other house the rest of my family stayed in were very smelly and damp , they really need a good revamp inside and out as it is such a shame as the homes are quite large and comfortable but nothing ghas been done to there up keep over the pass few years and this is very obvious . The house cannot be occupied until 4pm but you must leave by 11am on the morning of you departure i don,t know why as far as i can see they are not even cleaned before been re occupied , i think they just change the sheets .

Won't be staying here again and won't be reccommening them to my friends or family

i have been holidaying in tramore for many years. I Stay in the pebble beach holiday homes and im glad their there. Gone are the days when there used to be six of us cramped in to a rented caravan

Pebble Beach is literally a 4-5 minute walk to the amusements from the main reception. Could be 10min if your at the far end of the goliday homes.

The homes come with a tv with a few channels ( remote may be included, some people nick them, but you can get a cheap universal one at the shops). The bedrooms are ok they suit what is needed. Ive stayed in a few different houses and the master bedroom has always had an un-suite. you get a fully equiped kitchen. You may want to bring a kitchen towel with you as there is only one in the home.

if your looking for something to kill the time in the house with the kids you cant go wrong with dominoes.

The one draw back is that if you go to bed early you may here your neighbours arrive home outside, but hey what do you expect.

There is also an electricity charge that is taken out of your deposit. This year it was €50 up from €35 the previous years.

If your looking for a location close to the amusements but not to close, this is your place

Stayed at Pebble Beach for four nights with my partner our 10 month old son and two others , we reguested a high chair and cot which we got, they were AWFULL filthy dirty and old so old you actually couldnt give these to a charity shop the were that bad. I cleaned them with milton but when i put my son in the high chair he slid out of it as the starps were broken so that went in the corner for the weekend , then the travel cot was just as bad with the dirt but not broken thank god as he had to spleep in it , yeh the place is well equiped but again dirty Kitchen draw broke , ceiling in kitchen hugh damp spot all flaking off mop what mop it was that bad i have to leave it out the back it stinked no remote control for television we brought a wii with us so couldn't use it when we went to reception to get one we were told to go tesco an buy a universal one i was gob smacked i couldn't even answer the chap. well we enjoyed our time in tramore we got over the house in all , then this morning one week later i recieved my refund of the damage deposit and on the bill was electricty for €36 €9 a day we knew about that before hand but still come on €9 a day?? and then a €10 charge for the highchair and €10 for the travel cot WHAT ?? where on earth do get get off charging for such CRAP seriously. I rang this morning and spoke to the manager and reluctently shes refunding the €20 for highchair & cot.
So if i was you id think twice about staying here cause i'll never stay again...

I stayed in Pebble Beach holiday homesl ast summer (2008).
The location is excellent for walking in/out Tramore town centre.
The site itself looked well - however the reception area looked awful - a dirty disused fountain in front of it, and was poorly manned. Our holiday home was well furnished.
We were billed an extra cleaning charge of 25 euro after leaving which left a very sour taste with us - as we had cleaned and emptied bins and washed up prior to leaving.
There are small area with swings and slides around the site - however theer are also huge rubbish skips on the site which were smelly and dirty.

We enjoyed our holiday despit the miserable weather - however watch out for hidden charges after leaving
