Excellent beer and steak pie to die for. Really enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back. The sort of places you have to keep going back to to try everything on the menu !

Massive compliments to the chef. Not a bad word to say about the food. The best sunday dinner i've had in a long while. Portions are plentiful but i was not letting it defeat me, it was too good to leave.
Between the 5 of us, we ordered from the sunday lunch and main menu which was nice to be able to have such a large choice. In particular, they were really accomodating for fussy eaters allowing us to swap and change food items as we pleased.
Would definately recommend and will 100% be returning for that Gammon. Maybe next time i'll find room for a pudding.

On the way home after a few days away and we literally drifted upon this little gem. A good old fashioned pub with truly home made food. I have steak and ale pie, chips and peas - the pie was great homemade pastry, extremely well filled and with lovely rich gravy. The chips were home made and freshly fried, the peas were frozen - which is as it should be! The omelette was also great.

We really loved the little Hamlet where the Queen's Head Inn is located as well as the Inn itself, and of course Louise who runs a tight ship on every account. But our bedroom was really in need of refurbishment - I wont list things, but it could be made to be so much better with a little investment. Saying that it was spotlessly clean.
Our meal in the cosy restaurant bar was lovely and very reasonably priced and breakfast was great. The Inn is a very friendly relaxing place and you are made to feel at home. We would certainly recommend it.
