Easy to get a table as large pub. Meals standard pub grub not pricey, service a bit slow. Overall good value especially themed nights.

Just had a rump steak it was grisly and had to operate on it to find the bits to eat I eat at many places and can categorically state this imitation of a rump is the worst I've ever had don't be fooled by the two for one avoid

Me and my family came for a meal here and wasn't very impressed at all. My partner had steak and scampi which cost £18, steak was small and he got 4 little bits of scampi and hardly any chips. Another family member had asked for rump steak medium to well done and it come out medium to rare and even though she said something at the end when collecting plates, the lady was quite sarcastic with the comment of I'm being paid millions of pounds to sort food out and it wasn't her fault we didn't mention it. To be honest, food was pricey, service isn't great and food wasn't the best.

Not been here for a while but went yesterday Weds 6th Sept 2017.
First of all we noticed how busy the car park was and then how busy inside the pub. been here many times in the past but never seen it so full, It may have been because it was Curry Night. we found a table and was quickly served and order taken, Drinks were delivered followed by the food.
Was hot and well cooked and presented. Good menu like in all Marston pubs and this one is a 2 for 1 which is good value. Service was also good.

Visited for a meal with family and food was super tasty and great value. Puddings were extra tasty, i highly recommend the red velvet cheesecake!!! YUM.

Staff ok but couple of them seamed quite grumpy especially front of house staff but servers were very polite, was a mistake with an order but they rectified straight away with no hassel which was lovely as they didnt make you feel awkward.

Would recommend and would revisit.
