Description: Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak.

After a great day at Woburn Safari Park we stopped at Milton Keynes before going to Bletchley Park tomorrow. Opted for Beefeater as it brought back memories from when kids were little. Good menu, service, food, beer and coffee. Would go again.

Came here with a group of friends, not the usual Beefeater experience. 2 people ordered Sirloin steaks only to be told they had run out...how is this possible at a Beafeater ? I had a ribeye was like a piece of shoe leather and had to be replaced. I am sure the portions are getting smaller, the garnish with my steak was the smallest jacket potato ever accompanied by 1 mushroom and half a tomato.
Other dishes were ok , but definitely smaller than previous visits.
What a shame , was always such a consistent restaurant .
We were asked if we had vouchers , no one did so we paid full price.
Will be looking for another venue

Came as a family of six on a Sunday at 2pm. Service was good, although the empty glasses were not topped up with the free refills unless asked. Really good value for most food. My linguine was lovely for about £10. Grandparents both had risotto which they thoroughly enjoyed. Hubby's two meat dish (brisket and beef short rib), although nice, wasn't worth the £20. He would have the steak if we go again. Puddings were nice. The missisippi mud pie was very dense and rich. Our waitress recommended sharing it. Although father-in-law loved it and had no problems eating every piece! Standard kids meals at £5, with choice of burgers, chicken pieces, pasta, wraps.

I did notice a lot of families eating Sunday roast with huge yorkshire puddings, but this was not shown on the menu we were given. I initially thought that they had run out of Sunday roasts before we got there but families who came in after us had the roasts.

Was good but a star knocked off for the lack of drinks refills and Sunday menu.

Not dined in a Beefeater since the 80s & only stopped here because we were very hungry traveling home & just got of the M1 to eat. Did not have great expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The interior was a little bland but pleasant & the food not to bad at all, we had two mixed grills & they hit the spot & we enjoyed them, the lady that served us was very nice & efficient, she made the experience much better. What let it down for us was the guy that greeted us looked at us like why are you walking in here at this time (8.45pm) & never smiled, was also quiet curt, he seemed to be some sort of manager but he gave us an instant bad impression straight away!!! But the lady who served us I would say in her early 50s was excellent & helped to make the visit better & on her service & the quality of food (and not the rude & very unhappy manager) we will definitely try another Beefeater
