The bright dining room is a comfortable spot to unwind, the space decorated in understated colours and peppered with talking point traditional arts and crafts all the way from Thailand while the front of house staff are beautifully turned out, super-polite and always ready and willing to talk you through the extensive Royal Siam menu. All traditionally Thai, Royal Siam’s food is not only tasty but healthy too, made up of fresh, delicious ingredients low in fat and cooked without additives or unnatural flavourings, with minimal oil and absolutely no monosodium glutamate. Ranging from curries to grilled dishes and stir fries, the Royal Siam menu caters for all tastes and dietary requirements, with plenty of excellent vegetarian options as well as the numerous meat based choices.

We were recommended to go to Royal Siam, and what an amazing recommendation. It really is superb, although you wouldn't expect to find it where it is, don't let this put you off. The food is probably the best Thai I have ever had. We had Pad Thai, king prawns in coconut and king prawns & pineapple, all washed down with a glass of house rose. The food presentation was beautiful and the flavours were amazing. For two people the bill came to £34.00 !!! We will go back time and time again.

Really good food ! The dishes are quite big and the products are really good quality
Service is nice and efficient. We really enjoy the gambas and the coco sauce
The dessert are readymade we didn't take it and we expected better with the tea than a simple tea bag! Globally a nice adress

My wife and I visited on a Friday evening around 6pm. The restaurant was not busy bat that time but soon was three quarters full. This was our first visit and will definitely be going again.
The decor has some Thai themes going on clean and tidy. The staff were vert attentive and polite. The food in our opinion was fanstastic. We had duck and spare ribs for starters, these were cooked well and plentiful. Our mains were just as good, Chicken amd Mushrooms with spring onions, Chicken chilli and soft noodles.
We felt the prices was a little higher that eat all you can places but the restaurant ambience, service and food quality were all worth the price.

Very friendly and attentive staff. I would go back.

A few moans though.

Chicken Larb Gai was missing mint, which was a shame & the papaya salad was more like coleslaw - did not measure up to what I am used to in London/Heron.

Vegetarian Pad Thai - Tofu was excellent, nice and soft, but dish needs something, not quite sure what was missing.

I think the menu/food is geared to the mostly English clientele, a bit more spice would be nice!

I've been to a few Thai restaurants in London but wanted to find a local one for my birthday. Looking at the reviews I decided to go to the Royal Siam in Dartford. We were a party of 4 & we all had a very enjoyable evening. The restaurant decor was beautiful done which lent to a lovely atmosphere. The food was fresh & very authentic. The service was impeccable also. We would all thoroughly recommend & we will definitely be visiting again.
