This is literally the WORST hotel we’ve ever slept in. From the vintage filth encrusted on the walls, the tv conveniently placed on the ceiling, the hairs & debris of past guests, to the consistent alarm on each & every door ensuring the whole hotel knows exactly when a guest is coming or going. Each & every minute spent in this hotel is an experience never to be forgotten.

Just a little bit more care and attention and this place could be good. Fire doors propped open as springs dont work and simply want replacing. Rooms could do with a lick of paint more frequently and shower whilst clean, water did not run away fast enough.

OK, this is not the Ritz as the other reviews have mentioned, but the location is very convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed is full of springs, but we overcame that by asking for an extra duvet and slept on this rather than under it. The room has a single electric heater, which is fine, but as arrived at 10pm on a lovely cold spring evening the room was freezing as we slept and then baking as the heater did its stuff after 2 or 3 hours - our short term solution was to ask for another duvet. The room was barely bigger than the large double bed and the large suit cases we had could not be easily opened apart from on the bed. We over came this by organising a routine or suit case or bed. The room was clean and the shower powerful, but it was too hot to comfortably stand under and could not be made any colder. No real answer to this apart from to keep hopping in and out of the shower. The tea making facilities were fine. Perhaps you get what you pay for, but I am sure Restover could do so much better with a little more effort and turning down the hot water would actually save money. The staff were always friendly and helpful - thank you! If you can find alternatives at the same price and in the right location, then at the moment I would have to say, that at the moment you would be better to use these than to stay at Restover.

Room Tip: We were on bottom floor, perhaps top would be better?

It's on a industrial type estate, works are obviously on going, you can tell by the skip outside, at 49.50 I think it was over priced , nothing around it, no breakfast or even a vending machine.
It wasn't very sound proof either you could hear lots of other people. Of course if your looking for just a bed , bathroom it's clean enough. Mattresses and pillows are cheap. So not the comfiest.
Pictures1 outside 2hopefully fire alarm worked! 3wires hanging from TV

Keep this short and sweet, do not go here, pay the extra tenner for a travel lodge, skip outside would have been a better sleep, room smelt awful, rooms were freezing, beds were crap, you hear everything outside and in the corridor, crap
