We were in Manchester for a concert at the nearby Bridgewater Hall and booked the Pendulum for two nights as our normal choice of hotel was already full .
Plus points location, very close to train and bus stations ,staff ,friendly and courteous reception and courtyard bar staff ,plenty of hot water never any problems with showers etc ,
drinks reasonably priced for a city centre hotel .
nice courtyard bar if its not raining !!!
minus points , the rooms are and i dont know if other grades of room are available very compact to say the least for two people ,and our room was looking a little " tired " i.e. scuffed paintwork and woodwork , could do with a lick of paint and some T.L.C .
no aircon just a fan not a lot of storage .
I cant comment on food as we tend to eat out for all meals on these type of tripsMore
