Superb venue. Fully seated which was what I wanted, it was a close intimate venue which perfectly suited the music concert.

People stood up for certain songs and there was plenty of room to do so, plenty of bars so we didn't have to que for ages and it was easy to get out at the end.

Visited 02 on 22.6.18 to watch Jason Manford. We brought a drink and 20 mins before the show started we tried to get another and was turned away as we're lots of others. The female staff spoke to you like something of the bottom of their shoes when you asked if there was another bar. The queue for the toilets was long but that's not a problem yet again the female staff spoke to the female guests in a very rude and abrupt manner. In the interval nipped the loo and then lots were turned away as they closed the bar again and again spoke down too by the female staff. I will never go to the 02 again the vile staff ruined a lot of people's night and unable to get one drink in 3 hours.

Watched Jason Manford & the arena itself is very dated but this gives it it's appeal. 11 rows from the front of the stage so had a very clear view, seats clean & tidy, bar reasonably priced for a venue, dear but expected. Staff to hand were very friendly & helpful.

Overall a fab night !!!

Attended the O2 Apollo in Manchester to watch Billy Idol on 20th June, due to traffic problems getting there when we turned up we followed the signs for parking not realising that it was not an official carpark. We paid £7 and left the car on what we assumed was a secure monitored carpark. We had to leave the concert early due to an emergency at home but couldn't get off the car park, the security company had crammed that many cars on to the land there was no exit route, we then had to wait for the concert to finish and everybody to return to their cars before we could leave. If we'd been informed they would block us in we would never have used this car park - it was on Dolphin Street right opposite the Apollo. The other let down was again what I'm assuming is an outside company who do the crowd security in the venue. We were seated just above one of the staircases in the circle, really good seats with a great view until a number of the crowd security decided they would watch the concert from the top of the stairwell blocking our view and all the people around us. On a number of occasions the ladies next to us asked them to move but they kept returning and seemed to use it as a night out entertaining rather than monitoring the venue.
The actual venue is gorgeous, a lovely old premises with great acoustics. Modern toilets blocks which were kept clean throughout, good signage to locate the bar, exit etc.. just a shame that they aren't bothered about the overall experience.
