As the other reviews said, this place is brand new and good value. Kitchenette is useful and nice to have a sitting room and separate bedroom area. Signage makes the place hard to find although it is really close to town. The biggest downside waste uncomfortable bed - it was rock hard. Overall a good pick for value and if you don't mind the utilitarian feel.

Having tired of hotels during our two months' holiday, we fell on this holiday village and booked for six nights. It's new and the units are basically furnished, but more than adequate. Lovely location within very easy walking distance to the many bars and restaurants of Les Eyzies. Lots of the local places of interest are within easy reach of Les Eyzies and the scenery in this area is stunning. There are laundry facilities on site, which is useful, breakfast is available on site, although we preferred to go into the village and have coffee and croissant (it was better and cheaper!!) Staff are friendly and helpful and it's good to be able to park directly outside the accommodation. The gates are locked at night and open with a code. We will return.

Room tip: It depends if you want a terrace or balcony - both are small, but adequate. Ground floor rooms are easier to get luggage in and out.

This hotel is part of the Village Centre Group and is less than 5 minutes from the centre of Les Eyzies which has a great choice of restaurants (although I wouldn't recommend the Pizza restaurant on the roundabout closest to the hotel). The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. There is a small kitchen area in each room so you've got a fridge, hob, microwave and the necessary implements to cook a meal if you so wish. The fridge is good for storing drinks and milk etc for coffees. Rooms also have a table and chairs to seat 4 plus and sofa and balcony or terrace with a table and chairs.
The breakfast is 8 euros per head and is served between 8.30 and 10. You have to let reception know by 6pm the previous evening if you want breakfast and pay in advance for it - you only get one croissant, one small tub of jam, a glass of orange juice and a coffee so it's not very good value for money. Best to nip to the local supermarket in Les Eyzies and buy the ingredients and eat breakfast in your room.
Details on the site we used to book stated that reception was open between 1700 and 1900, but it actually opened at 1500, so we could have checked in earlier had we known.
All in all, this is a very well thought out property. The rooms are well equipped mini apartments and the complex has a fitness centre, a nice outdoor pool and a laundry room available to guests.

Room tip: Rooms on the ground floor have a terrace and not a private at those on the first floor which have private balconies. If I were to book again, I'd ask for a room on the first floor overlooking the pool

Dordonge is by far one of the most beautiful places in France.
You need minimum 3 days to explore it.
I am glad we chose this place as a base to explore because the village is very cute and small but has enough to help you survive (and survive well) as all the attractions are very close.
Canoeing is just 5 minutes walk away as well as the tourist office, bakeries and many fine places to eat for all budgets! There are also sausage and cheese shops along the main street as well as a historical museum

Le Clos Du Rocher was a little hard to find because of the signage and it being so new.
It is so new that the plants are still babies! :)
But our little self sufficient apartment was fantastic! we didn't have a great view or anything, but we didn't mind because the weather was beautiful and we spent all our times outdoors.
The rooms are fantastically designed and contain all you need. A great modern large bathroom too! There is free wi-fi available as well as free parking and nice big swimming pool.

You cannot go wrong with this place!!! It has everything going for it!
