We took the Superior Room, it was lovely. Beds were very comfortable. The en-suite is huge, not only do you have a bath with shower, also added is a v.large walk in shower. There is a toilet, behind a door, and a spacious area to do everything else in. V. clean room and en-suite.
Overall we considered this hotel well decorated, with a lot of thought put into it. The breakfast room is beautiful, has lovely wooden beams. Buffet breakfast (12 euros) was substantial, but I did wish they would cover over the foods to prevent any flies descending.
Lounge area is large and comfortable.
Staff all were welcoming, all spoke good English.
Position of hotel is excellent for shopping.
St.Jean has plenty of wonderful ladies clothes and shoe shops, you just can't go wrong.
Restaurants abound, not so bars, the latter are rather difficult to find but they are around.
Hotel is about a ten minute walk from the Plaza Louis X1V, the large Plaza on the harbour edge, where everyone seems to congregate.
Try visiting the Les Halles fish and food market, enjoy the fish soup. Also a must is the Church of St.Jean, very different.
