My husband and I love this chic hotel! Plenty of bars nearby to compensate for no bar at the hotel. Breakfast buffet is gorgeous as are the staff. Not far from the beautiful beach of St Jean du Luz and the fabulous shopping. Would we stay here again? Yes. We love it!

We had an overnight stop here on our journey back from Portugal to U.K. The room was tiny but that was made clear from the start & before I booked. Everything was in the room which we needed, including a decent hairdryer. Very clean, great location, nice staff, very quirky old hotel. A bar would have been nice but not the end of the world.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 9 night stay here in this charming hotel! Rooms and bathrooms very well appointed for a 3* hotel- all the staff went out of their way to help especially at breakfast time, sourcing special dietary requests and remembering everything each morning! The hotel is a short walk to the beach and chic boutiques and restaurants nearby! Wifi only works in the public areas but I guess that's fairly usual! Highly recommend the hotel just tea making facilities and safe in room would be perfect (really a 4* service) Thank you we would come back without hesitation!

Perfectly placed to walk around the centre of town. Very, very comfortable beds and newly refurbished rooms. Lovely old building with a homely feeling. Very courteous staff. If you can I'd recommend you stay at least 2 nights. The town of Saint Jean de Luz is just so lovely and unassuming, definitely a MUST if you are in the region, so much better than the other seaside town to the north starting with B.

Plastic cover under the sheet. Took it away. (Hotel Post could learn from Ibis or Campanile) Breakfast seemed a bit poor for 12€. We went to a café 50 meters away. Everything else I liked.. Located perfect very near centre. Public, (fairly safe?) parking backside of hotel. From were you could go in. When you combine modern conviniences with old times grandeur, you get a hotel which I love. I will return. And I really recommend the calm and charming Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Much nicer than the more famous resorts around and up to Arcachon.
