Good salads, good main course and fabulous chocolate mousse.
The price is lower than average in the region.

Je parle un peu le francais, mais j'essaie. The waitpersons (we could not tell who was ours since different people came to our table) ignored us and pretended to not understand me when I asked for water. WATER! D'eau. They just walked away from us with a vacant far-away stare in their eyes. They served me, but failed to deliver my husband's meal for an hour and a half. It became comical. The couple next to us had to come to our aid and cuss out the waitress. It was just pizza and it was overpriced and just okay. We stayed in Dijon for some time, using it as a base for exploration and honestly didn't have any good meals there (but sure paid a lot trying), so I hope you have better luck.

My wife and I ate in a pizza/pasta restaurant called Le Verdi at 22 Place Emile Zola this evening. We picked this place since there were reasonable amount of local looking people eating outside in the square. We had a pizza and a salad with a pot of wine. They were fine. The bill came to roughly 33 euro. I gave the waiter a 100 euro note. Back came 16 euro change. Hmmmm???

When challenged, the waiter’s command of English suddenly disappeared. I was ticked and took the change to the bar and confronted the manger. Without even blinking or asking which table we were at, he immediately apologized and handed me the missing 50 euro note. It was very clear they were going to rip me off if I had not checked the change and forcefully challenged them. Beware of this place!!!
