My husband and I generally come here for special occasions (anniversary, birthdays, serious food cravings). We pretty much always get the same two dishes (because they are soooooo good) and switch up the appetizer and dessert. The linguine al gusto is dinner and a show - lighting cognac on fire in a parmesan wheel, scraping up the cheese, and then pouring in a pot of creamed linguine, mixing it up, and scraping it out into a bowl to serve. So amazing. And the truffle pasta. Wow. This last visit, we got the calamari appetizer and were not disappointed. Finished it all off with a nice pistachio tiramisu. Of course, we also had Prosecco, a glass of Primitivo (not on the wine by the glass menu, but of course they are always accommodating), and limoncello for dessert.
The owner is often there, and he is a delightful person. We have never had a bad experience here or at the other restaurant, Guido de Luca. Fantastic food, great service, wonderful experience every time. Looking forward to our next visit!
