Only stayed at this hotel one night on our way back home.
I wouldn't categorize this as the regular hotel one is used to.
It doesn't have a lobby or common areas, as a matter of fact, the front desk is just a little desk on one side of the restaurant, but then again, who needs that when you are out and about all day.
The room was awesome. They even upgraded us just because. From what we were told by the super friendly staff, each room is decorated differently and has a theme.
There are dozens of restaurants and cafes 3 minutes away.
The only negative observation I have is not about the hotel, but about the closest metro station. If you are taking the metro to hotel Edgar, get off at Sentier station not Strasbourg station, unless you want to walk by several ladies with the oldest profession in the world. More
