In Paris they charge a hotel tax that is extra. It is noted at reception. Leave time to pay this bill and check out because the taxi starts his meter at the time you ask to be picked up not from the time you get in his taxi.
Anyhow, we enjoyed our stay here. The staff aims to make you comfortable with whatever you require. The bed is comfortable, the room is very clean and we had everything we needed. Everything in the hotel is organic, liked the shampoo and body lotion with honey! The breakfast that came with our room was good, the cheese and croissant and fresh squeezed juices excellent. Ran out of ham a few days but they added prosciutto. The concierge worked very hard to provide directions and tourist advice. Well Done! The hotel is near lots of restaurants and subway and hop on and off bus L'open Tour, was right around the corner. You can walk to shopping. The concierge suggested: Go to the Basilique du Sacred Coeur, walk west to Montmartre, nice little town, past the outdoor portrait painters, down hill past moulin rouge, walk past Printemps shopping, Lafayette, opera Garnier. I suggest you get a taxi or a bus there because it is very uphill, then walk back to hotel. Excellent advice. Memorable. Took us half a day, then you need more days for for Louvre and Eiffel Tower, champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. There are so many museums to see in Paris. Don't forget Patisserie, boulangerie, Brasserie, et des chocolates. Enjoy! Oh and when you check in ask for a business card with Chavanel address cause it's easy to get lost.

Room Tip: Room 17 was very quiet, had a couch, desk, queen bed, separate toilet from a nice shower.

The employees are really nice and helpful.
Unfortunately, I had some issues with the air conditioning. The hotel says in its promotion that the rooms have individual air control, but it is not exactly that; they do, but they can still be controlled by the reception.

While I had so,e r current issues with the Ir conditioning in my room, the tartar going up by a centralized control even though you we told in the hotel web page says each room has individualized tempter control, I must say that the four employees I delt with were fry pleasant.

M. Christophe Gallard is a real asset for this hotel. In addition to be very nice and polite, he provided us with the best guidance of excellent restaurants and points of interest in the city.

Mme Nikky, the manager, was always. Rey pleasant and helpful, the same as Ivana and also Ling.

Mme Cordu (I hope I am spelling her nam correctly) is a sweetheart who does not hesitate to go he extra mile to make you feel home.

Thank you to the entire team.

We stayed at Hotel Chevanel for the last few days of our honeymoon. I admit the location was great and the hotel was in good condition. My gripe comes with the front desk. I attempted to have the front desk book reservations at a rest

This was a perfect place to say if having a short break in Paris. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Close to the metro and hop on buses so great for sight seeing. Good restaurants close by. Hotel is boutique in nature which might not suit all and the breakfast is limited but more than adequate. Not suitable for families but I don't think this was the market they were aiming towards. As a couple we couldn't fault it and would use again.
