If you have limited time in Paris, this museum need not be on your must-see list, especially given its location. That being said, the Frank Gehry-designed building itself is great for architecture buffs and I suspect the exhibits will continue to grow in quality and significance. It is very clean and offers great vistas of Paris. Additionally, regarding the location, the foundation runs shuttles back and forth from the Arch of Triumph for a mere 1 euro.

Created at the initiative of Bernard Arnault by Frank Gehry, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, located in Paris, supports French and international contemporary artistic creation and makes it accessible to as many people as possible.

I booked my ticket online and it turned out it was a great idea to skip queues.
The building is absolutely fabulous, the impact from the distance is striking. The permanent collection is rather limited, although with a good few names, whilst the exhibition was in parts fun (Murakami) and in other parts boring.
I think the main attraction is the building itself and there is a permanent, very interesting, exhibition on how the building was born.
There is a very good gift shop and a restaurant (expensive, judging by the menu, but I did not eat there). Together with the entrance, it is possible to access the neighbouring park/garden.

Awful reservation system for tickets and worst service at the shuttle: The driver doesn’t check the e-tickets so it’s a complete mess and he doesn’t care if you have a reservation or not... he simply says that you need to wait for the next shuttle. Be careful with the excellency at a service, guys!

I don't know which is more stunning, the modern Frank Gehry building or the inside artwork including Murakami installations. It is quite a hike, I took a taxi there but it was worth it. The very modern piece of architechture is breathtaking, you can easily spend some time outside just appreciating all the work that went into it. The different levels of the building offered different modern art work and installations. We did not have time to walk around the park but it looked beautiful. I give it my Goldadvice seal of approval.
