Was on my Anthony Bourdain inspired Paris hit list.

We’re seated outside under rainy skies mid afternoon on Nov 23rd...awning handles the rains, heat lamps kept us warm.

Ordered escargot, cheese plate and Salade Nicoisse...all excellent!

The wines were expensive so we stuck with a bottle of the house red. $100 CDN for a superb meal, great people watching.

I was tempted to go back!

Thank Dann K

Waited in line despite empty tables seeming to be available, and finally asked a waiter if we could be seated. We were, but if we hadn’t asked they would have continued to leave us outside waiting in cold weather.

Then, another wait till anyone took any notice of us. We ordered. Escargots were luke warm. Pate de campagne came in a dish with toast and pickles. You had to cut a slice from that loaf of pate which was fine till I noticed a another customer using his personally used knife and fork to cut another dish, so who knows who and how the person previously served my dish had cut a slice. Totally unhygienic. We also ordered salade Nicoise. A pile of tuna and vegetables had been dumped on the plate looking very unappetizing indeed.

Judging by the lines and other reviews we were extremely disappointed.

In this area there are numerous good restaurants for lunch - but this little bistro seems a good choice. Also locals dome here. On the other tables we also observed very delicious food - and our choice of pigeon breast with different kinds of mushrooms was excellent. Servants were efficient and friendly. You can also be seated outdoor.
Prices moderate.

This was our fourth trip in 3 years to this wonderful restaurant. Great food, wonderful and knowledgeable service. Great wine list. Suggest not getting caught up in chasing Michelin Stars while in Paris. This is the place you want to go.
Menu changes daily, so cannot recommend a particular dish. Now taking reservations Monday - Friday.

Very nice place... very informal and doesn’t need reservations... it’s only a matter of few minutes to sit and taste an excellent food... worth the visit!
