Went as a couple. Given that most places in France do decent mid range dining, this place is a exception in the positive sense. Wonderful service, huge portions, quality and nicely presented and perfectly executed by chef. Ate their twice during our stay. Excellent cassoulet, excellent magret de canard which is wrapped in a lovely light pastry, and the melted camembert was lovely, as well as the cheese board. Would dine there again without hesitation. Wait staff really top class too.

terrace was not really a terrace as it was jammed in between buildings so no view but food very adequate as was the service which was fast and efficent. We had the set menu of 3 courses and 2 respectively and a picher of wine Very fair meal

Read earlier reviews and decided to try. For a fixed price of €16.50 I had a three course evening meal of boudin noir, sirloin with new potatoes and ice cream. A glass of kir royale was €4. The black sausage was soft, garnished with slices of caramelised apple and a side of salad. The steak was perfectly cooked, roast new potatoes with bits of black olive ( very Languedoc). Didn't really have room for much pudding, hence the ice cream.

Went as a couple - this is our third visit to France and we have not been overwhelmed by the general mid range dining - this place is an exception. Wonderful service, huge portions, quality and nicely presented and perfectly executed by chef. Had salmon - lovely crispy skin, husband had cassoulet - delicious. Entrees great - black pudding and goat cheese parcel. Desserts - creme brûlée and panacotta - both tasted great but technically a bit thick - not enough wobble or creme. But that is just being picky - had loads worse! Would dine there again without hesitation. Wait staff really top class too.

Fabulous lunch break at this lovely restaurant - we had the full three courses, wine and coffee and it was all fabulous. For my main course I had the Cassoullet which was piping hot and plentiful and for dessert I had Salted Caramel Pannacotta which was divine. Service was also great. Thoroughly recommended - go and enjoy - this restaurant does not stick with traditional lunchtime hours ... so if you are a bit later arriving in this wonderful place you will still be able to get served here which is not the case with all of the restaurants within the city.
