With a couple of friends in tow, we decided to have something different, and we were very pleased with this find. The restaurant was full of locals, service is efficient and very friendly, the couscous was outstanding and enough to feed a few hungry people. This was followed by a selection of Middle eastern deserts and coffee. All this and a bottle of wine our share came to 58 Euros!

Top Moroccan food and excellent friendly service at a great price. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again. The menu isn't too extensive which is often a good sign and it certainly was in this case. The portions are very generous too.

After reading reviews on TA I decided to try Le Ksar last Saturday night. We reserved using TA which was very easy. As we booked at 7.30pm we were the first there but it soon filled up. The choice on the menu is very small which is usually a good sign. I was surprised that there wasn't hummus and pitta on the menu and other little starters that we've had in previous Moroccan restaurants. They did have a salad to start with bread but we had heard that the portions were generous so chose to leave it. There are really 2 main choices; Couscous meals and Tagine meals. The Couscous ones are served with skewered meats with a vegetable sauce and the Tagine are either lamb, chicken or veal with either citron and olive, almond and prune or a caramelised onion sauce. A big bowl of couscous to soak up the sauce comes with it. We opted for the Tagine which we were told took a while to cook which was no problem. They were gorgeous. We all had a different one and they were cooked beautifully with the meat falling of the bone. We loved it. Prices are about €19 for the lamb and €17 for the chicken. House wine is very reasonable too. Desserts are either the small Moroccan pastries enough for 3-4 to share or ice cream and a Moroccan desert. We shared the pastries which were sticky and sweet, perfect after the Tagine. The manager gave us a liqueur on the house which was a fig or date and beware, it's potent! We look forward to returning soon.

We go to Le Ksar 2 - 3 times a year for our dose of Moroccan food. My fiancé is Moroccan and has always said this is the best Moroccan in Toulouse. We have tried other Moroccan restaurants in Toulouse, but none of them are a touch on Le Ksar.
We booked a table for 6 and all had different main courses. We ordered 1 salad starter which is more than enough for 2 - 3 people. The main courses were again, delicious and the mint tea at the end just finishes off a lovely meal. The owner and waitress are lovely. Due to the size of the main courses, we always ask for a doggy bag. Excellent restaurant and highly recommended
