Although superficially similar to other Ibis properties, this one is below average. The location is not pleasant: access to the centre is via either a very busy road,or backstreets carpeted with boken glass. The condition of the reception desk would disgrace a Social Security office.
Our room contained little apart from the fittings provides by the architect. There was an exceptionally poor thin mattress on the sprung bed base- different from the usual one Ibis use on this standard bed.The towels were worn out ,and numbered half the normal allowance. There was no toilet brush.
The bathroom was of the usual type, but walls were painted where tiles were required. The shower had no door.
There was a TV but no fridge, nor a convenient source of ice or cold drinks. The aircon did NOT have any cooling effect. At least the window opened and the curtains were adequate.
Breakfast was up to basic standards.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel.

Clean well located budget hotel. Exactly what you would expect from an Ibis. We were traveling and arrived quite late and hadn’t booked. The receptionist was fine however she was over worked. She was booking people in, answering the phone, dealing with queries from other residents and manning the bar!! The result was that it took ages to book in and ibis were losing revenue by people walking out from the bar area.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location for visiting the centre of Rouen. It has a useful off road car park which you have to pay for.
The hotel itself has seen better days and is in need of some decorating, refresh but still offers reasonable value for visiting the city centre.

Stayed here with a large group in April. Rooms were spotlessly clean but rather small, especially for two people. They had all the basic requirements however, (although a small fridge would have been a bonus). Breakfast was a self-service cold buffet, with the option to boil an egg if you wished. As there were quite a lot of us, queuing for a drink could be time consuming due to limited staff numbers; however, the two girls who worked behind the bar were extremely friendly, efficient and hard-working.
The central location, right on the riverfront and a fifteen minute walk from the cathedral and old town made it an ideal base from which to explore Rouen.

We used to stay here a lot but the drive to/from here to home is too long, so we rarely use this hotel anymore
However it suited us to stay here and it was the same as usual
The hotel is a bit tired and needs ti be refurbished, we didn't eat here as it was a Sunday and the restaurant was closed, so unable to comment on the food quality/price/value
It has parking but like most IBIS's you have to pay
