I really liked this hotel. It was extremely hot in Aix, so we were happy with the airco ;) But also the hotel was a pleasant surprise, it had a lovely garden and terrace for breakfast. Really clean swimming pool too. The hotel was up to date regarding things to do in Aix. The bed was a welcome change after a week of camping. Lovely breakfast, with delicious madeleines. The bus into town was really easy, but does not go back after 22h (you could still walk though). Parking is free on the terrain. As it is part of the Ibis chain, the hotel is not very personal, but that is to be expected and for me it was the only downside.

This hotel prides themselves on being wheelcair friendly yet if you are in a wheelchair and traveling with a child they do not cater but ask that you book 2 rooms. That is really convenient as I am sure my 10 year old son would love to stay in a room all by himself ... not to mention double the cost of doing this. The 'manager' hid behind the fact that they are conforming to the rules and that their adapted room only accommodates 2 people and was quite rude and direct telling me that I have 2 options: stay in a triple non-adapted room or take 2 rooms. What a great establishment!!

Room Tip: If in wheelchair and traveling with family forget it

Full-range pleasant stay from enjoying the swimming pool to discovering new dishes, may I add the diligent service from the cleaning staff, the convenient location close from Aix-en-Provence and close enough from Maerseilles

Dear Sabrina,

I am realy sorry for the bas experience you had during your stay in our hotel.
The receptionist propose you a other quiet room during the night with a window that you could open.

When you choose an Ibis you normally expect a decent minimal room, with good quality standards.
This hotel met the expectations, but it remains a Ibis, I would say with the prices more similar to a Mercure...

The room was just ok, pretty small and super minimal, but clean.

The breakfast was ok, but no cooked food like bacon and scrambled eggs, only boiled eggs.

We wanted to stop for lunch to enjoy the famous (and good) burger they serve for dinner, but we discovered with disappointment that no burger is served for lunch...
