After struggling to find good coffee in France, I was pretty happy to find this spot. Unlike a lot of places in Aix, this cafe differentiates between cappuccinos and lattes, and offers a coffee experience more familiar to a Canadian abroad. The coffee is more bitter than what I'm used to in Vancouver, and prices are more expensive here than elsewhere in town, but it's definitely a good spot to hit up if you're missing your fix.

It's a rarity to find good coffee in France and this guy knows his stuff. Knowledgeable and friendly owner whips up a mean latte.

Also sells beans and equipment.

Great spot.

Firstly the owner is great......and the coffee is even better. If you are looking for interesting, and 'different' coffees then this is the place to go. Every week there is a new 'expresso single origin' which will blow you away.
There's a small food selection too
