I went for lunch having read good reviews of EAT and they weren't wrong! This charming little resto is tucked away a little off Place Crillon (look out for the signs). Friendly service and really good food - I had ballotine of guinea fowl and an amazing cheesecake for desert. Strongly recommended.

A bubble polite greeting was just the start in this restaurant run by a lovely couple. English was easy for the hosts as were French and Spanish which I'm sure helps.

The food for all three of us was divine but all agreed that the Black Pudding starter was the best. Even my wife who doesn't eat Black Pudding was raiding my plate.
All mains were again wonderful but again the Guinea Fowl was the pick. Unusual but wrapped in a cabbage leaf it had a special flavour.

Unfortunately not only is the food fabulous but the servings are quite large so there was only 1 dessert ordered, a citrus cheesecake, YUM.

The restaurant is small so book and check where to go as it's a bit hidden away, but worth finding. And lastly it was probably the best value meal in two weeks of travelling Spain and France.

We also had the €15 set menu - 2 courses + glass of wine + coffee. What a value. The food was great and the service was perfect.

Had excellent lunch, taking advantage of €15 set menu - 2 courses + glass of wine + coffee. Duck main with risotto was particularly good. Staff were very friendly and service was quick but not hurried.

Impeccable service from the moment we walked in. Both servers spoke English and were patient with our flaky French. We ordered a salad to start, a bottle of wine, the beef and pork main dishes and desserts. Everything was amazing and we enjoyed every bite. We were the last ones out of the restaurant (unaware of their closing time) but they did not rush us out. Chef and owner were talkative and friendly. We will definitely return and recommend. Great little find in Avignon.
