A cosy hotel in Cannes. It's a 5 minute walk to the lively part with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel is located in a very safe part of the city. Denis the owner is absolutely amazing, he was superb in helping us planning our day trip to Monaco and then he helped us plan a route on our onward trip to Toulon. He also helped with lots of useful advice on Marseille as that's where we were eventually heading. He's probably one of the nicest people we've ever met! Our room was out the back and we had a little terrace which was lovely. The rooms were a bit small, but that was the character of the hotel, so it's not a bad point. I thought the room looked nicer in real life than in the photos. There was free and very good wifi. We had a small hire car and was able to park it in a secure car park around the back, it might be a bit of a tight squeeze if you've got a massive car, but would still be do-able. If you're considering booking this hotel then I'd say go for it, we can't fault it.

Room Tip: Room on floor 1 out the back has a lovely terrace

Pros: Pet friendly (pets stay free), free and secure parking upon availability, quiet neighborhood, 10 minute walk to the train station and shopping area, friendly and knowledgeable host (he really made our stay memorable), clean room, towels changed daily, upgraded us to a room with a small patio for our dogs to have more room, affordable price for New Year's weekend

Cons: Rooms are small and a bit dated, but that was of little concern.

Overall: Everything is within walking distance. Free parking and free pets was a huge bonus! The host is very helpful with things to see and do, providing maps, advice, and history. We would return again!

FYI Pet Owners: There is a dog relief area located down the stairs and to the left at the very beginning of the one way street the hotel is located on.

I have just spent two nights here, and would highly recommend this little gem of a hotel.it's well-situated in a quiet area yet within easy walking access of the town and railway station. That sa room was facing the road, the room was rather hot, and when the window was open the sound of cars driving along the small road was very audible. I also found the mattress was rather short, and could be problematic for a tall person. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean, and the owner is unfailingly helpful, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Such a nice man. All in all, a good choice for anyone looking for a low budget hotel , a warm welcome and a pleasant stay

,.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the road, and try and book a room with balcony

Yes, its simple. Yes, its not in the thick of it. But who cares? The hotel is clean, cozy, and safe. Denis is incredibly nice. He makes you feel like you've known each other for years. We almost couldn't get a reservation this year because of the festival but he emailed us the second he had a cancellation to let us know that we'd be able to stay with them. Perfect! We've been two years in a row and we've stayed in two different rooms; both lovely. This last one (#7) was great with its little balcony. We'll never stay anywhere else in Cannes. Thank you thank you!

Room Tip: Room 7 has a cute little balcony with table and chairs.

Stayed 5 days for an event at the convention center. The walk is not that bad (about 10-12 min) but it started to wear on me the last 2 days. If you want to stay closer you're going to pay more so there's a tradeoff.

The hotel itself is very simple and clean. The manager and his staff are very kind and accomodating. We just expected somewhere closeby to set our things, shower, sleep a few hours and keep moving around the city. That's pretty much what we got. The rooms are updated (some more than others) and the noise from the street didnt bother me.

Breakfast was 8 Euros but i prepaid it and i was glad to have some fresh bread, cheeses, nutella, cereal, juice and coffee every morning.

Overall a very positive experience!
